Ether funds ended the week the way they started it, with money heading out. An ETHA outflow Friday of $90.8 million accounted for almost all of the $93.3 million that left U.S. spot ether ETFs on November 6, according to Farside data.

What happened

Farside's table shows BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust losing $90.8 million, Fidelity's FETH shedding $1.7 million and Grayscale's ETH mini trust giving up $1.9 million, partly offset by a $1.1 million inflow into ETHB. ChainCatcher, citing RootData, reported the same totals and said ETHA's cumulative net inflow stood at $11.542 billion after the session.

The week was lopsided. Farside recorded outflows of $139.7 million on November 2, $85.3 million on November 3, $99.9 million on November 5 and $93.3 million on Friday, against a single inflow of $53.0 million on November 4. Cumulative net inflows across the funds stand at about $11.95 billion. Ether traded near $2,244 on Saturday morning, according to altlar's market summary.

Grayscale's older ETHE, which charges a 2.50% fee against 0.25% for ETHA, remains the biggest drag on the cumulative tally, with net outflows of about $5.5 billion since conversion in Farside's data. ChainCatcher added that spot Solana ETFs lost $25.08 million on the same day.

Why it matters

BlackRock's fund is the largest ether ETF, so an ETHA outflow Friday of this size points to institutional trimming rather than scattered retail selling. It extends a pattern our coverage of the ether ETF outflow streak has followed for weeks, interrupted only briefly before ether ETF outflows resumed on Thursday.

The macro mix did not help. A strong October jobs report lifted Treasury yields and December hike odds on Friday, which tends to weigh on assets that do not pay a yield of their own. Ether has also lagged bitcoin through the week's swings.

Prediction markets still lean against a full collapse. Polymarket priced the No side of its November contract on a dip to $2,000 at 62% at 08:23 MSK on Nov. 7, meaning traders see a fall to that level as less likely than not.

What's next

Monday's flows will show whether the ETHA outflow Friday was a one-week flush or the start of a longer exit. The October consumer price report on November 10 is the next macro test, and Farside publishes fund-level figures on its ether ETF page.

A run of inflows into ETHA would be the first sign that larger allocators are returning.

The call

We say Ether will not trade at or below $2,000 on Binance ETH/USDT at any point in November 2026. Polymarket priced that No side at 62% at 08:23 MSK on Nov. 7. Spot sits roughly 12% above the line after a week of steady ETF selling, and majority pricing still treats a break of $2,000 before month-end as the less likely path.
