What happened
CryptoTimes and Crypto-Economy report Shevchenko's update: the full $3.8 million was sent back and the probe ended before the deadline. A BNB-chain transaction beginning 0x3b9b3cc9… carried an apology. NEAR founder Illia Polosukhin said the attacker was identified in under 24 hours, SHIELD AI tools were used, and recovery completed around 14:30 UTC. Researchers described about 34.59 BTC (roughly $2.95 million at $85,200) plus other routes making up the total.
